Thank you for your welcome. Unfortunately (and I have been kicking myself since i started my trip) I do not have a camera, I have seen some incredible things, fortunately burned into my memory but I guess I'll have to come up with a thousand words to describe them instead. It has been a complete range of experiences and emotions. I will update more info when i have time. Thanks again for your welcome.

Glad you said out-ride, not out-run. I can still ride just about anything with four legs, but my speed on my own two feet's slowed down some over the years!
Don't hunt with a gun (but I love venison), I fish, I kayak, and I photograph bugs, tracks, nature - everything, anything. I also write a bit. Poetry, non-fiction, fiction, photoessays.
I have tented, campered, slept in truck beds, but I'd rather just throw a sleeping bag out under the sky with river music. Until I started reading the book I'm reading on black bears, and I may not do that anymore.
I live in Florida, so it's best not to throw that bag on the ground because of snakes and scorpions. You never know what's crawling in with you.
