I had been hunting several days in late January 2006 and the hunting season was drawing to a close. I had hunted the day before on Friday for six hours in the blistering cold. I can remember sitting there in my camouflage gear
wrapped up with my gloves my muzzleloader, watching my breath gently lift into the wind. Brrr...Thinking about it now, I still get cold. I had hunted hard too, trying not to miss the slightest movement in the tree line or bushes.
I know I had stopped once around lunchtime…
